I had a lovely variable voltage resistance mod sadly lost/swiped in a scrum of a bus que. I am currently using my "treat" to my self a mech mod bottom button korean markings shiny but cheap thing that looks the complete ninja.

I have heard stern warnings that if I get my rewiking wrong on my dripper , aspire , protank that I might do myself damage. True? Is my best bet to spend £40 quid or so on a new variable mod that tests the ohms on a head or £20 on a plug in head ohm meter. For the extra £20 quid I might go for a new variable mod, that I can use as well. But if I need neither thats a few quid spared. What do you think.

Happy Friday all

Richard

Hello, Richardb I would advise that you do get something to test your coils you can get a simple Multimeter like this one That will also do the job just fine without the cost of a new mod. Saftey first my friend do want any vaping related injuries

+1 to the previous post.A cheap multimeter will locate any short-circuits & you can also test your voltages on your battery and reduce the chance of over-discharging them.

Or the one up next would be a ohms tester that you screw your Atty into . you can pick them up for about 10-12 quid

A simple LCD Multimeter should suffice, you can pick them up pretty cheaply but avoid buying from Ebay as there are a lot of poor quality badly calibrated devices out there, About £15 is normal for a domestic multimeter and will allow you to check resistance and voltage with a fair degree of accuracy...
