Do you need a ohms reader to make a coil or can i make do without ?

Search android or Apple store for vape tool. It's pretty good for working out your coils. You input style (single or dual coil or higher), wire gauge (inner and outer in the case of claptons), wire material, inner diameter, and desired resistance. Then it tells you how many wraps are required to build your coil. I would still use your mod or ohm meter to check though. It's also a good app if you want to d.i.y liquids too

Thanks alot guys, ive watched some youtube videos and managed to put together a few coils to keep me going. Until i get some pre mades. Probably not brilliant but a start lol the videos make it look so much easier. I got so frustrated trying to get the wire exact on each side using the jig i just went with what i got in the end. Think the drop rda is great now i got it going just was hard to get the wire positioned to how i i wanted it. But sure with practice that will get better. Ive been on steam engine, i believe the wire is 26 gauge kathal but not 100% on diameter it is resistance so just gambled on a set 8 wraps for each and made sure they were heating up together before i went and vaped.

Now take them out and build it again and keep doing this (6 or 8 times) until you get used to it and once you do your sorted and will be a master [emoji6]

Dont have to be perfect yet, just get going and carry on. You can have whatever you like in your coils , if its shite go again, and again, you will find your vape we all have to some degree.
