Introducing the Chain link coil, it's a parallel 24g with 0.05 x 1mm ribbon wrapped around it when it was one wire, so start with your length of 24g bend in half and squeeze the folded end with pliers so it's sat close next to each other then at the fold end slide in the ribbon between the two wires, then start wrapping around the 2 wires making sure the inner wires stay next to each other and keeping the ribbon wrap nice and even works nice to gently pull the ribbon for the start to the finish and it will give it an even spacing, then once you have enough wire wrapped in ribbon just wrap your coil, I went with a 3mm drill bit 3/4 wraps and centered the build. Wicked with cotton and away you go.
This build came in the 0.1ohm range, but could quite easily be adjusted by using different wire or more/less wraps.
