it is. the number of cases is rising. the virus is spreading
about faster. this means it’s not a very good idea to remove the restrictions for 5 days while everyone travels around the country, gets pissed and stays in each other’s houses.

Surely we don't need the government or scientific advisers to tell us what to do ! It should be obvious to anyone with a modicum of sense that we should still be limiting social interaction.
Therefore, it's just as much the public's fault that the virus is spreading. You can't blame it all on Boris's crew.

since we live in a representative democracy then unfortunately we do. that’s how it works, we vote for the govt. and then they tell us what to do.
