coil advice for Coppervape Dvarw MTL

Wrap the coil with gaps between each wrap. Then push it right and it should spring back out, evenly spaced.

It doesn't make a lot of difference.

You get hotspots when they are tightly wrapped and you have to stroke them to get the hotspots out... you shouldn't get hotspots with a spaced coil.

I always use spaced coils. The non spaced coils don’t make sense. You never see a kettle with a non spaced element, or a toaster.

I've not got the mtl version only the dl but I like to wrap my coils very spaced , much wider than you would have thought ,then when mounting the coil I secure both legs then let the tightening of the posts pull the coil apart . I then put the coil rod through and twist it to the correct position and it all comes into place . Nice spaced coils. Dam I need a video to show you how. I might do one later.

Yes, a video would be great because I haven't got a clue what you lovely lot are explaining.. the thing I use to wrap is just the sooth thingy.. no spaces on it.. so coil is always wound tightly around that.

Awwww so I get it.. wrap it, then space using fingers nails.. then push together again! I always use my ceramic thingy to stroke the coiil anyway so does it make any diff to the taste experience?

Spaced coils work better @Littlemissliza you should give them a try. No need to stroke or dry burn them.

I'm getting consistently decent results with my builds on the Dvawr now. I don't know how 'good' they are as it is on only MTL tank so I don't have anything to compare it to except for DTL builds. I have some 50/50 juice on the way which should improve flavour. My only bad habit is being cheap with cotton. I try to use every little piece and not to waste anything. In many videos, it looks like more than have of the wire and cotton gets snipped and tossed.

What kind of cotton are you using @silk186 ? Labo puffs are super cheap and work very well in the dvarw.

I don't know. I have some stuff that came with purchases, some cotton bacon and some muji.
