Hello everyone ,I'm a bit new to building my own coil deck and just want to know what sort of duel coil build would you use on a sub ohm tank running around the 60 watt mark .?
Bloke in the shop suggested 2x
0.6 coils...does this OK?.
Cheers .

Will this be on a regulated mod? If you don't know what I mean just tell us the mod and tank names.

There's a few things that affect the wattage required but as a general starting point I use the 1ohm = 14 watts, 0.5 ohms = 28 watts, 0.33 ohms = 42 watts 0.25 ohms = 56 watts etc. Basically 14 divided by your resistance will give approx 3.7 volts. Start there and adjust up or down until you're happy with the vape. Anything up to about 20% up or down from your starting point. This is really rough but it works for me.

For your dual 0.6 ohm coils you should end up with a resistance approx 0.3. 14 divided by 0.3 = about 48 so I'd try 48 watts and then play about from there.

I will give it a go ..and thankyou for the info ...bloody accomplicated these coil builds .

That basically tells you the mod will fire at anything between 0.1 and 3.0 ohms, it's regulated, so you can dial it into what you're happy with watts-wise.
