OK, so I have read many posts here and watched a large selection of videos to help narrow my search for my new adventure into the world of Vaping.

I have no idea what I am doing so please bear with me, complete noob is an understatement. I have never heard of vaping until yesterday when I started looking for ways to quit.

This is what I have in mind to start me off, please offer any and all suggestions you my have to help me but try to explain some reasons as well if you could.

Not sure which of these to get, I like the variable voltage and wattage so I don't burn up my stuff but I cannot find any reviews on the 134...

itaste 134 Variable Wattage Kit by Innokin OR itaste SVD Variable Voltage Mod by Innokin

I have read great reviews on this so have it at the top of my lists, I think it will fit both options above...

iClear30S Dual Coil Clearomizer Tank by Innokin

I have been smoking non-filter for over 30 years so I think I might want to try to start with a tobacco flavor, it this any good? Ex-smokers with other suggestions?

Stinky Canuck's Ruddy 5 Star

I am looking mostly on vaporcigzz. It is a US site and I have seen many reviewers here refer to them, can you offer other suggestions?

Thank you for your time looking.
Rick

I haven't got this kit personally, but hang on I'll Tarzan call the rest of the zoo.,and seek their opinion, II think they are still playing out, @Mawsley, @u8myufo, @andyc Nasty Boy.
Can anybody help out here?

The svd will do more for usualy less money but the 134 is easy to use, just turn a ring to turn power up or down and looks awesome; got one for my OH who is a learner

Hi @FilterLess and welcome to the planet. You will probably get a few replies all at once now but here goes. I have the SVD and it is a decent VV/VW mod, I cannot comment too much on the 134 other than to make you aware it is a pretty big lump. The dual coil clearos are a good start for vaping with, once you get the hang of using a variable voltage mod then you can look at other tanks to use, also a little dripping atomiser to play around with. Here is a review by Phil of the 134, hope it helps.

In my personal kit, I have the itaste 134 Variable Wattage Kit, itaste SVD Variable Voltage Mod and
iClear30S Dual Coil Clearomizer Tank . Each and every one of them highly recommended for their performance, value and ease of use.

I haven't used any of the kit you've mentioned, so I'll just address the juice thing.

Lots of people come to this thinking they'll stick with tobacco flavours - I certainly did - and very few actually seem to end up doing that. I'd just advise you pick up some alternatives along with the inevitable flavours that sound like they might resemble what you're used to. I still have about half a bottle of Dekang's "Drum" flavour juice sitting here from last July. I just found I was reaching for the fruit flavours all the time, and later some sweeter ones...

I've gone straight onto the sweet flavours (10 day vaper now, 5 days clean now too), tobacco flavour didn't even cross my mind when I ordered my first juices. I haven't experienced too much variation in PG/VG ratio yet so haven't decided what I prefer, but worth considering when choosing juice. Welcome to the forums btw :)

Thank you for the reply, I love the looks of the 134 but not sure about the microprocessor-controlled variable wattage. What does that mean? I do not want to get this thing and fry everything I hook to it.

I think maybe I have been cramming to much in to really get a grasp on what I want. Here is what I think I know.

I will likely be looking for a good throat so I want higher wattage (around 8.8 to 10 to start). So if I go with the iClear30S, which is 1.8 ohms, I need to either run no more than 7 to keep from burning up the coil or adjust it somehow. Or am I completely off base and need to be looking at higher ohm clearomizers with a 510 connection?

Hmmm, man I am really new and completely confused LOL

I (like everybody else) started on baccky flavoured juices as I was a tobacoo addict....Once you realise that you can still get your Nic hit without the baccky flavours, the worlds your oyster....There's loads of flavours to test/buy that are far more enjoyable that tobacco....no doubt you will cling to the security blanket of tobacco until you realise that there's a whole world of flavours waiting for you...Once you break the chains... :)
