What's new

complete noob is an understatement, am I on the right track?

Couple of things....

take a look at the iTaste VTR if you are looking for a powerful but relatively inexpensive mod with a great variable volt and wattage display - very friendly for the newer vaper. It also has a greater power range than many mods out there. I am a bit like you - quite new but recently did a few weeks research before getting one yesterday and I am not disappointed. Just be warned that despite being smaller in profile it weighs more than the 134 (!) so is quite a lump.

as I have been vaping a few months now (about four I guess) I have several smaller ce4s and evods as well as a few protanks etc. I do use the smaller ones for mobile and stealth vaping still, and they are great for testing flavours, so worth investing in a few cheap ones (make them different colours so you can colour code the flavours).

Tip: keep a separate clearomizer for different forms of menthol, as it takes ages to go away even with thorough cleaning. I do this with chocolate too as it stays around for ages. Sometimes fun to put chocolate into a heavily Menthol vaped clearomizer for a great mint choc chip flavour though!

Happy vaping and welcome!

Thank you, I will be placing my order from Kidney Puncher (a PBusardo approved site :rotflmao:) when they reopen. As for a compact "out in the yard" type device I was thinking about the Innokin V3, great reviews but I want to stick with 510 connections so everything follows a cross device platform, any suggestions?

As for my go to device I have my mind set on the Innokin SVD with Kanger Pro II tanks. Have yet to find a bad review for either, other than the low volt limit and I sure it will be a while before I will worry with sub ohm builds.

Great tip on the menthol, have not read that yet but will keep it in mind. Juice seems to be kicking me in the head a bit, I am now considering just randomly picking a few from ljesmokes (so i have something) and posting a wanted ad for used juice in the classified area here. Does that make sense? Or is that a little over the top? Just hate to order 30 different juices to find I only like 2 or 3.
:diy:

Personally I'd suggest going into one of the shops that let you sample some and starting from there.

i mean, there are a few no brainers that just taste awesome (if you like them - menthol, grape and coffee seem to get pretty standard love from those that do) but for many flavours, particularly some of the more exotic ones, try before you buy isn't a bad idea. Strawberry menthol is one i love but a friend finds it 'weird' so it's all so subjective.

Good luck :)

I wouldn't worry about getting 30 different flavours, first months are to try and fail till you get what you like and good thing it keeps your mind busy thinking about vaping instead of the real stuff that is quitting cigarettes
