Concentrates.

Proper noob question from a proper diy noob.

Thinking of getting some dinner lady concentrates from vapeclub.

It says "This concentrate is suspended in a PG solution" but it doesn't say how much of the 30ml bottle is PG. Obviously the flavouring isn't PG so it would be nice to know how much of the 30ml bottle is flavouring and how much is PG. I've looked everywhere, even on the dinner lady website and nothing. It says the concentrate should be mixed at 20-25% so I guess if you mix it at 25% the flavour of the end mix should be stronger?

I'll be putting in an order with flavour boss soon and would just like to know how much extra PG and VG I will need to order to make up the dinner lady concentrate at 70/30. Would appreciate any guidance on this if someone can help, please?

When Diy Mixing, it's best to purchase 500ml or more if you desire of PG and VG and then use a eliquid calculator to work out what quantities of pg VG Nic and flavour you need to add achieve what you want.

@InnaPickle , take a look at the forum on here....General Chat and there is a post called Vaping Calculators. It lists all the calculators you are ever likely to need.

All of the bottle is PG. very few FLAVOUR concentrates are VG.. I usually mix my concentrates at 10% to start with and see if the flavour is strong enough.

Thanks for clarifying Richard.

I like my liquids quite strong usually so will probably mix it at the recommended 20-25%, but what I've just realised is, it doesn't say anywhere how much juice the 30ml concentrate should make!? so 20% of what!? lol I know it's 20% of the total mix, but how much should the total mix be? I find it shocking that on no website where they sell this stuff does it say anything about this, at least no website I've found anyway.

I used an eliquid calculator and came up with this mix at 150ml, but as I don't know how much the end mix should be I don't have any idea how weak or strong this mix will end up. I just want it to taste as close to the shortfill as possible.

They don't say how much the concentrate will make as its down to the user to mix at the percentages flavour strength they desire.
When using an e liquid calculator, mine or any other, you specify the strength of flavour you want, the nicotine strength you want to vape, the ratio of pg and VG and the amount you wish to make and it will tell you all the volumes of each ingredient to achieve this mix.

I understand that, but I'm buying the concentrate of that flavour because I like that flavour in shortfills/10mls and I'm sure thats the case for the majority of people who buy that concentrate. It would be nice to know what strength I should mix it at to make it to the strength it comes in as a shortfill.

Thanks, yeah I think I pretty much have got the hang of the calculators now, or at least that one I've used lol

Oh I understand what your asking now.
Difficult one that. As far as I know, no one states the flavour strength of their shortfills. I know they say it's increased flavour strength to allow for Nicotine to be added so it won't weaken the overall flavour strength.
I guess you will have to do it by trial and error.
Start of at say 15% and see how it tastes once it's steeped for a while. Once you've done this you can increase as you require to mimic the Shortfill strength

Hope you noticed I didn't comment on the e liquid calculator you was using lol.
