It also suffers from darkened juice weeping out of the space between inner and outer chimneys.

I can't say I've ever noticed this with mine.

I don't have the sxk k5 but I do have their k5 mini which i find is definitely not as good as a no name k5 clone I use a lot. I'm not sure if it's to do with the build quality of it or with how they've scaled the whole thing down. I can't fill it without it leaking.

The juice darkening wasn't a show stopper for me. Might have over egged that. But it was really obsessing some people over on the Skyline thread (on ECF I think, or maybe here)

The SXK KF5 (and Mini) is strange - the SXK Kayfun Mini V3 clone is amazing. I've never been anti-clone. I've had loads. But buying less often, and buying authentic is getting more attractive. Particularly buying used. I've tried a lit of high-end devices recently, and it didn't cost me more than the postage

I have the Skyline clone and it works great for me in MTL mode with the supplied MTL disc. I was getting the discolour juice coming through when the coil was nearly shot. Not had this issue since using cotton bacon even when the coil is shot.
When i do a coil change i'll try it in DL.

Is it caused by juice leaking back from the chamber into the tank, so it's maybe been heated and darkened? I'm going to keep an eye open for it, just out of interest. I only use my own diy liquid with very little flavour (2-4%) though, I wonder if this might be a factor. I never get gunked wicks. Only blackened coils.

I've got on really well with the skyline. The airflow, low noise, juiceflow all work really well for me. I've never had it flood or gurgle, and I think it's because the liquid flow opening is visible and easy to see how much it's opened. My no name k5 (which has been really good) occasionally leaks just a little out the airflow and has flooded and gurgled at times, which I'm sure is a wicking thing as it doesn't happen all the time. For me the skyline seems more tolerant. I also don't have the mtl adaptors, so have been tey by a few "council" methods of tighten no it, with varied results.

No name k3 mini has been great also, after I got a new centre pin (original airflow screw didn't work). It was super cheap so took a gamble on it cause I'd got on so well with the no name k5. None of the minor problems I have with the k5, but it's still a good bit noisier the the skyline.

All 3 are still in rotation (along with the sxk doggy, which I think tops the lot of them!)

I see your point about clones vs authentics as well. I think I've been lucky with the clones I've bought (apart from the k5 mini problems)...

It's top of my list aswell, doddle to wick and coil, nice tight tasty draw, never leaked, thinking of getting another $9.99 + pennies p&p on 3fvape.
