My boge510's are okay but after 2 days I'm getting airy draws and it's just not hitting the right parts. So I'm calculating they're costing me about 50p a day to run. I've got my eye on two things: the phoenix rebuildable and the Mini Vivi Nova. I'm just wondering how much they cost to run a day - or this this nearly an impossible question to answer? Cheers.

Mini novas are dead cheap to run and can be made cheaper if you recoil your heads which is what I do anywhere.

I broke it down and I spend about £16.45 a week (in a year) on vape gear... £2.35 a day, which this year I plan on dropping even further down...

From what I have heard, the phoenix rebuildable is one of the most fiddly rebuildables out there, but having not experienced that personally, ignore me on that ;); vivi novas are well liked, relatively cheap too for what you can get out of them, even though I myself recommend boges, I have found that smoktech cartos that I have had to be longer lasting and more reliable, really a carto should stand up to the pressure for a couple of weeks, even with heavy use, i reckon it can depend where your vendor sources them from; the iGo-L is a cheap, easily rebuildable atty that holds a lot of juice for a dripping atty, it would look odd on an ego, but I am just right this instant going to try one on my spinner, back in a mo...

Yup, it works fine...looks like an alien, but does the job on an ego style battery...ker-ching

Just added a plinth that would be used for a large nova to make it look smoother and it doesn't look that bad:

I'm liking the look of that Merino-Teflon - I'm quite partial to the crack pipe look anyway tbh. Is this the same as an igo-L? I know that Todd's done a review on this and highly recommended it. Is a plinth just for cosmetics? Sorry I'm so skint atm that I'm trying to work out the most economical way of getting my nic hit until I'm back in work! £2.35 a day is pretty much what I was spending on baccy!! My juice costs me about 15p per ml which ain't bad. Dalley79 - how often do you have to rewick and coil etc?

Edit - btw, where's the best place to get some smoktech cartos? Cheers.

The plinth is just cosmetics, smoktech I have gotten, as far as I recall, from ivapour-elixir, there is also smokshop, which I reckon is the official uk distributor of all things smok, liberty flights I think, probably others, but still, who knows, another supplier may have ace boges, and ace boges are the biz...what you linked to is an iGo-L, vapingthings are great, sometimes more expensive, sometimes cheaper, but they have great customer service, I once ordered a steel geni tank there, and a glass tank tube...and the guy texted me saying that the glass tube I ordered was for a different steel tank, and so we sorted something out, and I tell you, many vendors would not have pointed that out, diamond geezer runs that joint.

Edit: Yeah, I know what you mean about the crack pipe look, sometimes I like things that look like they have no forsaken reason why they should be put together, why should everything be flush and smooth, right.

I agree, flush and smooth is boring - I'd rather have something with character :) I love the look of fat tanks on egos, topped off with a steel ming. Thanks for the advice, I'll hunt down the igo-L then and perhaps some smoktech's for back-up. One thing I like about that site is that you get your stuff the next day if you order before 3pm - now that's customer service for you.

Hi defu as regards how often I recoil my nova. I recoil my nova about once a week with cleaning and washing it out every 2-3 days depending on what juice I am using, hope this helps

Thanks Dalley79 - that really helps with my number crunching. That's way cheaper than these boges, cheers.

I think also I'm a bit worried about becoming one of those people with footers stating how many ciggies they've avoid and how much money they've saved - but in reality they have resorted to getting a second mortgage in order to stay on top of their new hobby :)
