Very odd interview earlier, Swayne doesn't know what he's accused of, and Adam Boulton is just badgering him. Both come away badly IMO
There is thousands of examples.when you say it’s another example, what are the other examples?
Actually no I apologies about that - For some reason - I thought your answer came from @Social Misfit
Ignore my comment
There is thousands of examples.
Kevin Hart losing the Oscars because of a tweet from years before, James Gunn fired from Disney before they came grovelling back, footballers being fined for something they put on the internet when they were 12.
To name a few more famous ones.
It's the new culture , trawling back until you find something that you don't like no matter how long ago it was.
I know this is only November but why 2 months before all of a sudden it's news?

can we just clarify, what you are saying is that people should only be accountable for things they say or do a couple of hours ago? or a couple of days ago?
Or a better way of putting it, maybe we stop going for the throat on every little bit of history whether it be a month or a century ago and maybe talk about it first?
Like o said before, what if this fella had a point when he said it? Given the numbers were retrospectively lowered for October, something that previously led us into the lockdown.
Or are people so angry about this now because the circumstances have changed in terms of numbers and hospital cases? Basing anger now about the comments only when , In a different context 2 months later it seems worse than what it is?
Why does everything have to be put down to right and wrong constantly with opinions? How dare this man say these comments at a time when numbers were much lower because now they are not, it's very dangerous to suggest it.
There will done a time this year when comments made before march last year will be dragged up with the individuals made to apologise for downplaying the virus before anyone knew the dangers of it. You know as well as I do it will happen, how dare this person say the virus isn't dangerous back in January 2020.
He said it at a time when not long afterwards the figures on ONS were retrospectively halved.don’t tell me i know as well as you do, it’s quite dismissive.
you don’t think it’s a problem for an mp to appear on a conspiracy theory website, claim the covid figures are made up to perpetuate the lockdown and encourage the covid deniers to go out protesting?
He said it at a time when not long afterwards the figures on ONS were retrospectively halved.
Everything I have seen in regards to this story is based on the situation now, not in November when he said it.
Ergo it's taking something from the past , out of the context it was said in (and ignoring the fact data was altered afterwards) and then kicking off because it doesn't apply now.
You see they aren't covid deniers , they were protesting lockdowns. Different set of people , the latter have just cause to believe their protest whereas the former spend too much time on the internet.
Which implies the current number of deaths could be horribly worse and therefore Swayne is even more wrong.so you agree that the figures were faked to perpetuate keeping the lockdown going?
