What's new

Covid-iots

There's a fish and chip shop still open? I thought it had to be delivery only for them to be allowed to carry on.
I'm guessing the rozzers didn't want to shut down their chippie. one rule for them etc etc.

There’s a few chippies and takeaways here that have stayed open.

My local chippy has been open throughout. Only 2 people in at a time, hazard tape on the floor to denote social distancing and contactless only payment. It's pretty decent too, the curry sauce is a highlight.

Thats what we had tonight!
Had to pop to M&S foodhall, on the way back popped into our local chippy, only 1 other customer in there & a 4 people limit in the shop, its actually massive.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, its been about 8 weeks since we had it last. 20200505_185007.jpg

Looks lovely! Do you always use tea towels as placemats?

Haha yep always. We have separate tea towels we use on our cushions to have din dins

And it was bloody gorgeous!
Do you also have "best" tea towels for when visitors come round?
It does look damn good and I'm gonna have to go to the chippy tomorrow now!

Stop right there! This is the isolation police.

If you thought it was inappropriate to go to the chippie 6 weeks ago, then nothing has changed. Why now?

Remember STAY AT HOME, PROTECT THE NHS, SAVE LIVES.

Does look yummy though :)
