the only one that could be considered reprehensible is the flavor ban.
it seems to be talking about a ban on flavoured e-cigs, rather than a ban on flavoured e-cig fluid.

Yes.. and I have no idea how influential Ash Scotland (or the idiots they invited from Aus) are or not.. let's just hope & pray they not in this case...
Think it is important to not exaggerate here… This report is not about vaping in general, but how to reduce or eliminate the environmental damage from disposables, and the policy suggestions, Aussie or not, are compared based on this goal I found most of the measures they suggest to be rather reasonable…
Believe me, I agree that there are politicians who will be moronic enough to try and copy the Aussie catastrophe regardless of the consequences, it’s almost as certain as it is idiotic
Some of the Scottish MSPs I've seen prattling on in your parliament often reference Australia when talking (shit) about vaping.i’m just happy we agree that “scotland” is not actually taking advice from australia
Well, I think we can agree that we will have to wait & see if Scotland is actually taking advice from Aus or not.. (or the UK, via Steve Barclay, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care)...i’m just happy we agree that “scotland” is not actually taking advice from australia
.. the recent call for evidence on youth vaping to identify opportunities to reduce the number of children accessing and using vape products.
He said: “This closed on 6 June 2023 and we will now consider a range of options based on the evidence provided, including potential changes to vaping policy and regulation. We will respond later this year.”

Both articles I have linked to in this thread suggest there is a high chance they (either Government) could be being influenced by some element of Australia's failed policy...
But, although the Aus approach to vaping is scary, it is evident that the UK is planning to change it's policy towards vaping -
