Diy - Does this look right?

Ah Wow, I'd love some thing like that but somehow I don't think it would be in keeping with an ex council house haha

My house is rented and when i moved in it was disgusting there was plaster all over the bricks, but after a good clean, i painted the ledges that run along the sides, got a bit of wood and covered with wallpaper for the huge hole at the bottom, run an extension lead under the carpet and behind the board for the electric fire and electric candles, few decorations from home bargains and it looks decent.

Lmao i do all my diy, painting, wallpaper, laying carpets and wood floor, tiling etc i can pretty much put anything together. My mother doesnt belive in paying someone to do a job so have learnt how to do everything myself from a young age. If you ever need me give me a shout ;) lmao

I still think it looks like a dry-stone cottage by the sea, with the gentle sound of crashing waves and soft peat smoke rising from the chimney ...
