Hi,

i have a hana dna 40 coming and I currently have:

russian 91
magma
vertias

Which one do you think would be more suitable for an NI build? Reading around I have even heard the Russian 91 will not work because of how loose the 510 screw is.

i also read the veritas can be a nightmare because of the thumb screw it uses and hot leg issues.

the magma is great but messy, it has posts I can screw down on so I'm thinking that but it's a right messy rda so... Any decent options for flavour to run the dna 40 in temp mode?

Dose not mater what you use as temp stuff is to hit and miss, and when you do get it spot on it lasts for a bit then its fucked :-0

So just have a play and then go back to kanthal to save you from going insane.

Is it really that bad? What did you try it on? Did it have adjustable 510 screws or anything like that?

Been running the same nickel build in my Luca Spider for nearly a month now with no issues. Gets gucked up and a quick dry burn and I am sorted but bear in mind I am using a SS mesh wick.

EDIT. I found nickel builds easier than normal Kanthal and this is coming from someone who uses Genesis atties ;)

Wow. Not my experience at all - how do you build?

DaveX, PBusardo agrees with you - He thinks Nickel is a PITA, I had a few difficulties at first but now I use twisted 0.25mm Pure NIckel in a ten wrap microcoil. I wrap it as tight as possible on the jig then make sure the coils are pressed close together while on the jig, Fit it under all 4 screws on the KF4, then pulse gently, using very pointy tweezers carefully "Strum" the coil in the area of any hotspots to seperate the wraps ever so slightly and Bob's your cross dressing auntie...

As long as the post connections are secure and the connection on the 510 is solid everything should work fine...
