DaveX, PBusardo agrees with you - He thinks Nickel is a PITA, I had a few difficulties at first but now I use twisted 0.25mm Pure NIckel in a ten wrap microcoil. I wrap it as tight as possible on the jig then make sure the coils are pressed close together while on the jig, Fit it under all 4 screws on the KF4, then pulse gently, using very pointy tweezers carefully "Strum" the coil in the area of any hotspots to seperate the wraps ever so slightly and Bob's your cross dressing auntie...

As long as the post connections are secure and the connection on the 510 is solid everything should work fine...

I was interested in the genny aspect given hotspots would dramatically alter the resistance and therefore power supplied to the coil. Pulsing seems like it would be horrendous - so I've not tried.

But the Kayfuns and Squape thank me for the Kanthal daily.

PBusardo, the guy from YouTube? He needs to make his mind up. He was raving about how the DNa 40 temp mode was so great when the evolve guys where sending him free stuff. Now all that's gone he changed his mind?

Just rebuild ni200 on my manga and have to say it's much better, maybe because of the screw posts? The resistance hasn't moved all night and decent also.

He's certainly shit at making Ni200 coils. I was cringing watching him. It takes me less than a minute with a machine screw to turn out perfectly spaced coils... [emoji53]

Veritas works well with Ni200 builds in my experience. That positive post with the nuts you tighten down are a bit of a pain BUT I think it makes a better connection than most post hole style RDAs and the design of the veritas for flavour more than clouds is perfect for Ni200.

Just watched them; must say I've experienced each and every one of his points and agree wholeheartedly with his conclusions. I don't watch him that much but this video hit the head of the nail.

I'll say again - nickel & cotton is the only time I've experienced a burnt wick. An ultimate fail for the board. Fortunately both the mods are working OK with non-TC coils.
