Fuses

Hi folks,I'm in the middle of building my first mosfet box and I've just hit a snag.
I only ordered the two fuses and what's happened is the tabs have broken off of them just as I was about to solder the 510,are the fuses really necessary I don't really go that low in build's usually about .4-.5ohm.
Any info would be great from some of the more experienced mod builders,cheers

I had the exact same issue! Ended up getting some of the yellow paddle shaped ones.

I got these ones as I'm building in an NLS g box and there's not a lot of room,are the fuses really necessary if I'm not building really low ohm build's?

Not necessary, but a good to have. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I know it's good safety feature but I don't usually build crazy low,and I can't actually think of a time since my first few goes at rebuildable's when I got the odd short,been a long time now,cheers Ax

No worries. Fuses are more for when you put the batteries in the wrong way and fire the mod. If it's just for you, it's not so bad. However, all the AxBoxes are and will be fused, as I don't want someone blowing off their hand, especially with my Triple and 26650 boxes.

Will do. The Triple S is out for testing currently. The final version S is going to be put together and tested next week. That'll then be heading over to America for review. Once that review drops, I'll be doing a full release for it. Hopefully by then I'll have the AxBox 26650 S and AxBox P done too.
