What's new

Got fat?

I fucking love food though,

That's my problem, if left to free reigns I'd go into a supermarket & come out with all sorts of junk. I have to write a list of all the healthy stuff I need & wear my junk blinkers & just buy what's on the list but it's hard

I'm always bloody hungry too, up at 7am, survive on tea until 10am, porridge & whey powder then I'm starving again 2 hours later & it's only 12pm. Some people go 5/6 hours without a meal & I just can't do it. I was trying to do 1800 calories a day & it was just impossible, bumped up to 2100 & it's still hard even when eating healthy stuff, if I had Maccies or something I'd easy be in the 3,000 region

I've managed to maintain my weight but being naturally skinny so its not too bad if I do put on a bit, I'm a healthy weight at around 12 stone and 6 foot tall.

I started walking every half and hour though the day and a mile and a half with the dog, just walking round the garden and house I clock up around 4 miles a day ( including dog walk) and the little belly I had has disappeared.

I have a pedometer on my phone which tells you how many steps, miles, time and calories you have burnt, probably not that accurate but better than nothing plus it keeps you at it :)

I'm 6' tall, normally skinny and have generally paid no attention to my weight as it hasn't been an issue. Buying stuff like jeans has been a piece of piss - as long as its 32" waist, 32" leg they will fit fine, until recently. The only ones that I can fasten are the few that are made from stretchy stuff - even then its been a struggle.

When the shops re-opened new strides was my first priority. Fucking ironic that 99% of the jeans on sale are skinny fit.

I was doing a 18-20 hour daily fast, nothing over that period except one cup of black coffee, green tea, peppermint tea and water, I got used to it. Throw in some heavy at home building works and it had to go out the window, it's nigh on impossible to do manual work without some food. I've enough (back) pain from the work, let alone almost keeling over and shit, from feeling faint and fatigued. Btw, carbs make most people feel hungry, they make me hungry for more. I lean towards fat and protein. Food is not my problem, beer is, it's like liquid bread. I'm trying to transition to top shelf, probably vodka. Afaik pure spirits, like whisky and vodka are pretty much carb free. Although I could with a break from alcohol, last time I had a break i went 2 1/2 years without a drop.
