Have your say - Creating a smokefree generation

Not going to bother filling it in as i have better things to waste my time with. The Government has probably already made a decision regarding vaping. if something happens to vaping that i don't like i wouldn't hesitate to get my Nicotine Fix by starting Smoking again. I ideally wouldn't want to.i don't or can't remember me liking any of the decisions the Government have made.

Just type Fuck the Tories in every box and then it won't be a waste of time ;)

it’s because rates of teenage drinking have been falling for years. but teenage vaping is increasing sharply.

The only problem with graphs like those are they don't tend to sight their sample size or where they asked these questions and how, some may be lying or maybe they asked a larger number on a certain year than the other not disagreeing with you but when I was in secondary in the late 00s way more people smoked than I see smoking and vaping now

But it is falling though.... my kids very rarely drink, the culture is changing, young people don't really go to pubs any more or wander around on the seafront drunk getting off with each other in bus shelters.

Fair enough I'd say though that when I was in secondary in the late 00s way more smoked, than smoked or vaped now I also think that adults should be able to have a choice as to what they put in their body whether it be alcohol, nicotine or even sugar which they've recently restricted with the sugar tax

Adults also like sweet things for instance my dad in his mid 50s has been smoking for about 45 years and has only recently stopped due to trying sweet flavoured eliquid as he like most others don't like the taste of tobacco eliquids.

sure, I don't disagree with you, but that is why they are zooming in on vaping because of the sharp rise in the last couple of years. Before disposables vaping was pretty level and starting to drop even. ... I don't think it's a problem, it's still very low numbers .. the gov just want to be seen to be doing something. It's all nonsense.

True I do personally think the rise is due to the fact that vaping is kinda taking over from smoking as most people in smoking areas or outside pubs seem to be vaping instead of smoking unfortunately it seems they've already made up their mind you would've thought they'd of learned from the USA after their vape or flavour ban in most states they've had a huge spike in fake vapes and eliquid a better solution would be stricter fines and better regulation on packaging and even the names of flavours so you have to read the description to find out what they are

Forced into it...too many short sighted people calling for a ban....if we get away with restrictions it will be a result of sorts

I read all the comments on here which all have view points I would say pro vaping however the form is there to express that opinion no mp will read this forum but if you have a voice then use it if you can’t be bothered then don’t moan when they do ban flavours when they only have closed systems when nic goes on prescription.

I may sound argumentative but this isn’t the tpd there is a real good threat that vaping will be banned in some way or shape.

I don’t really care what people write as long as it fights our corner
