What's new

Help me buy an ecig please

Thanks for quick reply cozy, I didn't add juice direct to the coil but did let it stand for about 15 mins and yes hit it straight at 60w as the polar is set to auto so forgot to lower first, will put a new one in and do as you said and see how it goes, thanks

No worries yeah sounds like you've burnt it tbh, easy mistake but not your fault it's a learning curve, do as I said before and you should be good pal and let us know how you get on

Yeah before putting the coil in the tank add a couple of drops to each hole on the side of the coil you will see it absorb into the cotton, go round all 4 holes and do a couple of drops in each

didn't work, did exactly as you said, primed it properly and it still just a burning smell and even try taking a tiny hit and it burns my throat?

might be a silly question but when replacing coil with gt mesh ones, I don't need to take anything off it do I, like the little "handle" bit on bottom? .... Nevermind just looked at old one that worked and that had it on...

What juice are you using, did you let it sit in the tank for a few mins after priming it, you did use a new coil? Not the same one ?

I'm using apple loopy juice from cloudstix.com that I got with the ecig, don't think it's that as I was using same one on other coil and worked great till it needed changing, let it sit in tank yes, I have changed quite a few coils before on other ecigs and pretty sure did everything right this time and yes it was a brand new coil

just to confirm,
Added a couple drops to holes then put it back together
added juice then let it sit for about 10-15 mins
primed it and used it at low wattage first slowly making way up

there is no flavour smell at all just burning

Apologies I thought you went with the freemax tank, you're using the cascade tank that came with the polar as part of the kit? Did you take the white rubber bung out of the tank if it had one, as that makes the tank 2ml capacity when taken out you get a 6ml capacity

yes I took the white rubber out when first got it and has worked a treat last couple weeks but now it's just not working with a coil change, not sure what I'm doing wrong and only have 1 coil left now till can get more, so don't want to do it wrong again if I'm doing something wrong

Sounds like your doing everything right might be worth taking tank apart and give it a clean in warm water, only thing I can suggest really, what coils were you using before? And did you only get the problem when you went to the new pack of coils ?

If it smells of burning, you’ll most likely have tainted the juice that’s in the tank. I would disassemble the tank completely (including silicone o rings) and give it a thorough clean before trying again. Check the recommended wattage for whatever coils you have: kits usually come with 2 different coils, i.e. they usually need differing power. If the second coil was the second from the kit, it may have been designed to need less power than the first.
