Hi and thank you for stopping by! Really?! Thats wonderful!! I wish I could! I think that because my hubby smokes the "stinkies" it is making it rough on me too! Sometimes I just feel I "need" a darn stinker!! I think it is because I haven't figured out how much to hit my vape amid how often :/
Also, what is "throat hit"? Sorry for the noobie question but I have heard that so many times and just wasn't sure what it is. ..I went to a local vape shop and when I bought a new clearomizer, she asked if I wanted a light, medium, or harsh, I looked st her completely clueless I got light out of not being educated I guess :/ what does a throat hot do? Is it good or bad lol!

Throat hit is the sensation you get in the throat when taking a vape too much throat hit can cause you to cough.
The time it takes for nicotine to absourb is different to smoking but negligable really. Nicotne is absourbed into the body via the lungs when smoking where as with vaping its absourbed into the body via glands in the mouth and throat. The time difference is negligable really, if you find its not satifying your craving then maybe you need a higher nicotine level.
Equally vaping longer can satisfy the craving, its an adjustment when you switch.

I was nursing and smoking. Not my proudest moment. I gave up smoking while pregnant but started again when mini-me was 6 months old. Little did I know that I was going to nurse until she was 3 years old!!!
Vaping will put less chemicals into your body than cigarettes, that's for sure. What nicotine does to your baby, and how much actually comes across in the milk no one knows. Bit of an issue, nic works like red bull for me. I hope it won't keep your baby awake!!!
I would drop nic strength and vape more instead. I was sucking on my ecig (or whatever you want to call it) like my life depended on it. But it stopped any craving for cigarettes. After a week I was happily standing next to smokers and didn't want any of it. I have tapered off a lot now.

I am currently at 12mg and thinking of dropping to 10 then 8...
I really want my body to adapt and so that my Lil man isn't expressed to much nicotine...
I meaning vaping is better than cigs but the nic still passes...
Today I have gone from smoking 10-12 cigs a day to only 2!! I can't believe how much I have cut down already! I am hoping by the next few days I won't be smoking at all! How much did you smoke and what strength of nic in cigs? How did your baby react?

I smoked full strength, about 10 a day and she was fine.
But I am sure she would have been better without.
Try not to stress yourself. And use the Vaping as a replacement, not as a means to stop. If you vape before you get desperate, you are much more likely to enjoy it and not miss the cigarettes as much. Don't cut back too quickly. Get your body used to living without all the other chemicals first, before you drop the nicotine.

Hello and welcome to the Planet MrzLozano.

Lots of good advice given so far, all I will add is that it will get easier as you adjust and before long, you'll prefer vaping to smoking! As you transition, just remember that it's the fags you don't smoke that are important.

I know what you mean! My lil man is fine too but I don't doubt it woukd be better without! I hate the fact that I have this addiction to smoking but I seriously have been smoking cigarettes for over 13 years, since WAY befor I was even CLOSE to 18 unfortunately :/

Thank you for all the advice! I'm not sure, but if it is possible, is there a way I might be able to add you on here as a friend? I would love to keep in touch since you have personally gone through what I am going thru!

Also, you mentioned to vape before I get desperate... how do you vape?
