What's new

How often do you change your cotton?

I swap flavours around quite frequently and use drippers more than RTAs. Drippers get a rinse, re-wick and dry burn just about every day. RTAs only get redone when I'm changing flavour type or when they need it due to crud build up.
It is so much easier with rdas, no f*ckin about with precision, just pull the cotton out, rinse, shove new one in and job done [emoji1] [emoji108]

as and when it needs doing depending on juice but got so many set ups on the go its not really a problem :D

Same here mate, but ain't it a bitch when you haven't done any for a while and then you get 5 or 6 that need changing at the same time [emoji848]

Every 12 hours to a day. The eliquid I make is very unforgiving on my coils and cotton.

I only vape unflavored 60PG/40VG 9 mg/ml on an RTA at 10 Watts and my coil comes out to .5Ω with SS316L. I don't really keep track as to how long my coils last between wicking. Since it is not flavored, I re-wick when I get a slightly burnt taste or I just don't get the throat hit I am accustomed to. When I replace the wick, I pulse the coil and use a small wire Bristle brush to get whatever the gunk is off the coil. When it is at an even glow I add the cotton. As far as replacing the coil itself, I don't have a clue how long they last. If the wick's life is measured in weeks the coil is measured in months. I hope this is helpful in some way.
