There is such a thing as over flavouring where too much flavour concentrate will just mute itself so you can’t taste it properly. I find steeping a makes a big difference in flavour and as you might already know VG isn’t the best flavour carrier when compared to PG so it takes longer for the flavour molecules to really blend together with the VG. I would definitely recommend you try steeping a bottle of one of your usual recipes that you know well for at least a couple of weeks (just put it in a cool dark place) and then compare it with your regular un-steeped version and I think you’ll be surprised at the difference.I guess it's horses for courses as I don't do tobaccos. Just never had any concentrate I could taste under about 3%.
I do mix with a 100% VG and VG nic so the only PG is in the flavours. Don't generally steep much either. Maybe that influences it a bit.
