Sorry for the delay!! I havent had a quiet moment today to do a little bit of video. The hubs finally passed the mod back over to me with his full approval. He really wants one.
The Check battery function came in pretty handy today. One of the flat top batteries died in it and the blue led behind the push button (Its plastic by the way and not metal like I initially thought!)
So I checked the battery, because there was still enough in it for the mod to function, but not vape. Flat Top battery came in at 3.7v left, so I swapped in an AW IMR battery, which was dying in the LT and not letting the LT function.
Odd enough, the AW IMR came to life in the IMotion and checked at 3.7v as well, but I vaped on it for another hour or so before we got home and popped the batteries in the charger. I am waiting on some wire for the cobra to get here tomorrow. After I have wrapped a coil on the Cobra, I will be able to check Ohms with the IMotion to show that in the vid clip I plan on doing. I would say that the AW IMR batteries, however they are made would be ok for this mod and they seem to last a little bit longer than the flat tops which came with my LT mods awhile back. The AW IMR allows the battery casing to be completely enclosed as well, anything bigger than this and you will have threadings showing.
Hopefully the new phone will come too and I can use that to film it since it appears to be better quality than my current webcam!
I have also measured a few boge carto's on the IMotion and they come in between 2.8 and 3ohms which is for the SR. my LR's got mixed in so I haven't been able to check those yet! The Vision Dave sent along is somewhere on my desk so I will check that on the imotion tomorrow as well.
