OK so just started on the long road of sub ohm vaping using premixed liquid. Currently on 3mg and 70vg/30pg

I want to start down the route of DIY liquid but a bit nervous. .....

Couple of thinks I have heard good reviews on vendors for pg and vg but not flavours or concentrates.. and good ones?

Also no calculator I can find has the amount of flavour to put in. Ehatvare the Best one flavour mixes.. I know it's an opinion but I would take yours great fully

Thanks apes

Mixology sub forum.
Recipe mega thread.

These are your friends to start with.
Flavour & opinion is personal but it is a good place to start.

Most flavours (& blends) I aim for 15 ~ 20% flavour.
I use The Perfumers (Flavour) Apprentice - TFA or TPA. (Bought from Chef's Vapour normally).
I also use Emporium flavours as they are local to me.

I have tried Flavour Art as many were swearing by them.
I mixed at 3% and could taste but the flavours I chose were not for me and honestly I would mix higher next time (5 ~ 10%?)
I will stick with the 2 brands i know & like, 3 actually as I also like some Cupcake World stuff at 20% also.

Takes a while but fairly cheap and fun!!
I have 100 bottles of 10ml flavour, might sound a lot but far cheaper than the equivalent of pre-mixed juice.
Plus, once mixed up will last a long time.

Start on single flavours or copy a recipe of a juice you like.

You need to do some reading on the Mixology forum here ... loads of stickies with all the answers.

I use Classikool for VG and PG but Lubrisolve seems cheaper.

Calculators won't give you an amount for flavouring as that's a variable that you enter as a mixer. Lots of reputable flavouring suppliers out there but each will have different recommended %s for their concentrates and most often specifically for flavours. If you look on the Chef's Vapour site there's a rough guide to manufacturer and ranges for their flavours. Again, these are ranges, not precise ... that's up to you the mixer, as they're your taste buds and no one else's.

On the Mixology forum there's a huge thread with recommended recipes, with %s of each flavour needed.

Clasicool for PG and VG:
PG - http://classikool.com/e-cigs-flavours/classikool-100-propylene-glycol-e-liquid-base.html
VG - http://classikool.com/e-cigs-flavours/classikool-100-vegetable-glycerine-e-liquid-base.html

Will be using DarkStar for nicotine because of the price and people like it:
Nic - http://www.darkstarvapour.co.uk/darkstar-shop/product/82-nicotine

Flavour Art for concentrates:

I get bottlas from Vampire Vape (use discount code on this site)

Syringes from ebay are good (put sellotape over the measuring marks or they come off)

I also use little plastic measuring cups (ebay) because it's difficult getting a syringe into the bottom of a 1L bottle of liquid lol

Kitchen roll

Surgical gloves if you use them (I don't)

Some sticky labels and a marker pen to label bottles

old 'Quality Street' (or other) tub to store your concoctions

eJuice Me Up (freeware juice calculator)

That's all you really need imo

You can always dilute a mix that is too strong with some 0 flavout liquid, but can't un-dilute a mix.

I have a 100ml bottle of flavourless so I can do that.

I started out mixing with 15% but that is way too much for Flavour Art imo. I usually use 3 - 5 now
