I am guessing they had first dibs on it since it was created there.

Because we approved it first via the MHRA, and consequently ordered it first.

Someone had to be first.
The Germans expect to approve the vaccine mid December.
Does a couple of weeks make a big difference.
They will have approved it as will many other countries long before you or i get offered it.

There seems to be anti vax bashing going on in this thread and tbh I'm not sure there are any anti vaxers taking part.

I see people looking for answers as they obviously have questions, myself included.
To pick on an example as has been done above, vaping interested me but I'd have been stupid not to do my own research and ask questions before jumping straight in.

I say answer the questions or at least allow them to be asked and stop bashing those asking or start another thread for that purpose.

They're not "a nonsense" or they don't come accross that way to me. They're genuine concerns that seem to be being dismissed as antivax statements.

The two questions I've raised were does anyone know how long the protection lasts from the vaccine? No one has been able to answer yet.

Seeing as the vaccine is based on injecting a small portion of the virus into the subject is it possible for them to then transmit the virus to other people? Again no one has been able to answer yet.

I think both points are extremely important factors.

I am bowing out this thread now as my sanity is on the decline.
The thread was asking who is having the vaccine which i answered that i was going to wait.
I have not asked everyone to do the same.
I do hope that it is safe for the people who do go ahead with it.

The statements Zou was referring to are indeed absurd Ripple. Your questions are valid, but as a virus mutates as time goes on and changes it’s form of attack who knows about the length of protection time?

And regarding infecting others then if there is a vaccine does it matter?

But I think that by and large expecting a mass degree of intellectually superior medical professionals to be present on a vaping forum, (who are, let’s be honest, the only people that go can answer queries on a vaccine), is probably a stretch.

We’ll all go with our guts and do what’s best for us, and that’s all there is to it.
