Yeah, I've read its like a chalkboard type feeling. Personally if its like that it won't bother me much as I like matte textures. Mine arrives tomorrow so we will see!

I thought it wouldn't bother me too. As soon as I took it out the box. Dude. It bothered me abit. It's like the feeling of your nails scratching the chalkboard. Will scratch like crazy it seems too. What a Strange strange decision from a top leading brand.

I've had my Cortex a week or so now. I'm really enjoying it! I've found the Ni200 coils set to about 230C is the sweet spot for the majority of my juices. Big flavour from the included iSub S tank and nice clouds. The MOD itself has an unusual chalkboard texture thats quite jarring at first but I quickly got used to it. The screen being on the bottom is an odd choice and not one I particularly agree with. It can be a bit awkward to change settings etc. Especially when I'm used to the Cool Fire 4 Plus. Battery life is good and lasts around 2 days for me. Overall a nice vape to have in my collection.

Yeah, vaporshark do that as well - I have an rDNA40 and find the screen placement really annoying. The screen also distracts people when you're chatting in the pub.

I think you have done the right thing mate. As you know innokin are pretty bullet proof and you have a high output tc mod for future proofing. Please give the taifun a go it is awesome.
