but that aside am currently running single coil 1.8 ...but would like 1.5 dual coil ...suggestions please ?

You'll have to make your own res/no-res wires in that case I'm afraid - there are a number of ways of doing this, twisting, knottting, using silver crimp beads, buying/making a wire welder.
Re the flooding, you do have to be very careful that your Ithaklone (TM)
is assembled correctly, and that the bottom post is screwed in correctly, pulling the O-ring tightly up against the hole in the base. What often happens is that unscrewing the mouthpiece to allow the juice to soak the wicks can unscrew the ceramic cup assembly, so you need to ensure that that is also screwed down tightly enough. Avoid over-tightening the mouthpiece as well.
