Looking to cut juice consumption

The general rule of thumb is that the lower resistance you need, the more power you will have to run through in order to heat the juice. This will then mean bigger airflow too and your consumption goes up.

The simplest way to reduce your consumption is to build incrementally higher resistance while closing off your airflow to find your sweet spot for heat. The trouble these days is most seem to thing 'the best' vape is going to be ultra low resistance and high wattage because it delivers big clouds. You can seriously reduce your juice consumption but it will be at the expense of your clouds (which, let's face it are wasted juice production)

Personally I like around 0.5ohms on Kanthal and 35w or on a mech around 0.3-0.4 on ni80. My juice consumption is pretty much 5ml a day and I go through two batteries this way too on both rebuildables and coil tanks.
A agree, when I see vape reviews they blow huge clouds. If I did that one in my living room it would set off the smoke detectors, windows open or not.
I will take a look at what other coils I have in the shoebox tonight after i finish of this tank.

One of these should work, most are 0.20-0.35 but a few in the wheel are higher.
0.45, 0.50 and 0.85

I'm not very good at figuring out the wattage and don't notice a significant difference. How much should the wattage be adjusted as the ohs go up? is there a simple rule? @Vapen00b47

are your rtas or rdas single or dual coil?
These are my buildable tanks:
  • Geek Vape Radar RDA
  • Wotofo Serpent BF RDA
  • The Wotofo Troll RTA (5.0ml)
  • OBS Engine RTA (5.2ml)
  • OBS Engine Nano RTA (5.3ml)
Recently I've been working with the OBS Engine Nano RTA and The Wotofo Troll RTA.
I usually look up a tank review or two, hit the same wattage and see if it spits or gives a burnt taste.
I assume my wicking could use some improvement.

With how quickly I can drain the tank and how much these can hold I don't really see the point of squonking. 5.3ml vs 8ml isn't very different

Is the idea wattage for a build more about the coil and single or dual, or is it also affected by the tank?

The coil dicates the resistance, which dicates the watts.
The lower the ohms, the higher the wattage needed to power it.
Double the coil, half the ohms. ie - 2x 0,5ohn coils is 0.25ohm.

15-30watts should be enough with that coil.
That sounds good. I'm thinking to try TC to get a more consistent vape without messing around with a programmed curve.

What kind of coils should I be looking for?
The mod is a Geekvape Aegis Legend 200w. It has NI-TC SS-TC and TI-TC.
I still want DTL and flavour, but smaller clouds and lower juice consumption.

the tank dosent affect the juice consuption. its the ohms of the coil and the wattage of the coil.
if you have two coils in a mod the ohms get halved.
example i put one 0.85 ohm is a single coil rta the ohm will be 0.85
if i put two 0.85 ohm coils in a dual coil rta the ohms would be 0.425

if i use a 0.5 ohm coil at 25 watts a 5ml tank could last a day.
if i use a 0.32 ohm coil at 60w i would go through 10ml a day
