Mech Mod or add more the resistance ?? Octopus dual coil @ 1ohm

I got curious and just tried out a dual coil on the octopus. 7 wraps of .20 kanthal x2 coils came out at 1ohm, now the Evic doesnt want to play.

Tried it out on an ego battery and goes like a steam train 3.7v



So the question is shall I just get a cheap mech mod (UDT-L) or just get some wire with more resistance ????

Get it up to 1.2 and the evic will play

A lot of VV/VW mods (nearly all that I know of) don't like anything under 1.2 ohm. I deliberately wicked my RSST to 0.9 ohms so I could get a big wallop from my Siggy 19. But my Aga-T (which is attached to either my SVD or Tesla) is wicked to a whopping 2ohms!

8-9 wraps x2 hmmm... maybe i'll get some higher resistance wire then..

Don't try a udlt as its not a mech mod, buy a cheap sigelei or something, you could try higher resistance wire and try to make each coil about 3 ohms
