Obviously there is lots of good news around vaccines (it would seem), but look at the NHS Covid app, 12 billion for what? The latest greatest

It is important to me to keep some level of perspective on these vaccines coming out.
Don't see me as an anti vax champion because I'm not i just want to see a more effective way of testing before you'll see me jumping up and down.
Take this one for instance........
There is no evidence that the 15,000 people that recieved the vaccine have been exposed to the virus.
They need 50 placebo and 50 vaccinated to volunteer to be exposed to then produce a true comparison and a truly effective test.

How good is it?
The trial involved 30,000 people in the US with half being given two doses of the vaccine, four weeks apart. The rest had dummy injections.
The analysis was based on the first 95 to develop Covid-19 symptoms.
Only five of the Covid cases were in people given the vaccine, 90 were in those given the dummy treatment. The company says the vaccine is protecting 94.5% of people.
