MVP2 not firing Kayfun 3.1 Clone

ok so one step closer. Double check the screws for the coil. try and just tighten them a tad more. make sure no wires touches any thing they shouldn't. triple check and try and get another reading.

Jst trying to find a thread that tells you how many turns with that wire to get that resistance, but its gone missing

I'm still reading 0.0 after following the instructions on this chart. Any suggestions anyone?

Do you have access to .20 kanthal 4 wraps around 2mm silica comes in at about 1.8 ohms. Try that as a build. See if you get a reading on themvp.

I've only got .25 kanthal and 2mm silica at the moment. Do you think the kanthal gauge is the problem? It really does seem that whatever I build, closely following instructions, reads 0.0?!

I think 0.0 is registering a short - basically the current is not going through the coil as the positive and negative parts of the kayfun are touching some how. Have a look at the bottom of the kayfun, is the positive screw touching the side of the 510 connector? Also check that the positive block and negative block are not touching, or that the negative leg of your coil is not touching the positive block (the gap between the blocks is very small so can be easy to do this accidentally).
