MVP2 not firing Kayfun 3.1 Clone

is the coil clear of the air intake and deck also check that the posts aren't shorting together.....failing that remove the coil and reattach the kayfun deck to eliminate problem with the kayfun

I loosened the "air adjustment screw" and tried mounting the coils through the "alternate mounting screw holes". Getting a reading now but it's up at 3 ohms. Getting closer!

It's starting to look like the air adjustment screw was where the problem lay

The adjustment grub screw at the side ? the allen key one ?

cant see the picture....if the screw is the one centre bottom, that holds the positive post...

It was the screw to the left of the air hole on the side. Managing 1.7 now

think its more likely the coil attachment to be the cause..unless your clone air hole had some swarf in it I which case I would recommend a strip down and thorough clean or this will happen again.

I agree. If it is/was swarf then I wouldn't put the kayfun on a mech mod until this is investigated - there is no intelligence in a mech to prevent firing in the case of a short which would be bad.

It's working really well just now. Not going near any mech's until I really know what I'm doing with this. I'll keep at it and give it a proper clean out tomorrow. In the meantime, the vape of this thing is insane...now I "get it"
