My first go! Bet I got it wrong!

Today I took my first steps into DIY. Being an impatient yoke, I just looked at the stuff Andy (cheers mate) sent me, looked at POV's calculator and fired straight in.

Basically, I added some PG, Nicotine Base and Flavouring together in the quantities given on the calculator.

Then in another batch, I mixed half PG half VG of the quantity given then added the nicotine base and flavours.

Is that it? Is it that simple?

It can't be. I've done something wrong haven't I? I know I have, I must have.

Where have I gone wrong?

Here's the recipe

PG (might have been VG, notes are downstairs) 6.3
Flavouring 1.5
Base Nicotine Liquid 2.2

I halved it for one batch, then thought in for a penny and went the whole hog for another batch. In the second batch I halved the 6.3 and mixed PG with VG.

Right, its slightly wrong but dont panic!!

The nic base I sent was 54mg so with that ratio, you are making 12mg NIC strength.

Now the NIC base is in PG. The flavouring is also in PG, so to get 50/50 ratio 12mg strength, you need to use the following: -

5.0ml VG
2.2ml Nic Base
1.5ml Flavouring (Assuming 15%)
1.3ml PG

That will give you 10ml

Dont throw it away All it means is the PG ratio is really high on that mix, so as long as you are not intolerant to PG, it will be fine

Mixing = Pure pain for me. But, worth it.
I totally forgot about the flavors being PG, so fluffed a fair few attempts!
