My first go! Bet I got it wrong!

I made up a 5ml experimental cack-handed first bash last week that I've been on for the first time today and it's actually really nice! Lychee and vanilla. No idea what I did but that's ok because I added more flavour afterwards so it wasn't a precise recipe either, and I wrote it off pretty much as soon as I'd done it. All I was aiming for in the end was that it be vapable which it is, amazingly, I thought I'd have to bin it!

Nice one. I tried a raspberry & vanilla mix, the recipe called for 1.5ml flavouring but I slung a touch under 1ml of each in. Can't wait to give it a go.

Oooh that sounds good! I've been buying loads of the Juicylicious Raspberry Ripple, if I can get a good recipe I'll save myself a fortune!

OK i've tried the mixes now and I have to say i'm disappointed with a couple of them. The Mom and Pops Conspiracy is really (and I mean really) nice. Nive vape and throat hit and especially flavour. I'm well happy with it.

The Calipitter Chow however, has the taste but no throat hit and the draw seems hard until I turn up the voltage/watts on the Vamo, but i'm then getting a burnt taste. Same with the Pchelas 5.

All three were mixed using the same ratios. What (if anything) can I add to the two 'failures' to liven them up? Or should I bin them and try again?

I dont even bother counting anymore... I premix my nic base down to about 16mg and then just chuck my flavours in, so I end up with nic juice between 6mg and 12mg most times...

Right, its slightly wrong but dont panic!!

The nic base I sent was 54mg so with that ratio, you are making 12mg NIC strength.

Now the NIC base is in PG. The flavouring is also in PG, so to get 50/50 ratio 12mg strength, you need to use the following: -

5.0ml VG
2.2ml Nic Base
1.5ml Flavouring (Assuming 15%)
1.3ml PG

That will give you 10ml

I tried to make 10ml of Calipitter Chow using this ratio and it's not turned out very well at all

For Mom and Pops 50/50

I knocked up a batch using
3.3ml Nic base (PG)
2ml PG*
2ml VG*
1ml Dionised water
1.8ml flavouring

*The recipe called for 3.9ml so 2ml of each was put in.

A weeks steeping was up yesterday so this morning I had a puff and i'm very pleased with the results. I'm going to knock up a massive batch so I can see how it gets on with longer steeping times.
