What's new

new to dripping- love it- were do i go next ?

Have to say that in a way i wish i hadn't bought my IGO-L, it has spoilt it for me a bit. Everything about the igo is just as perfect as i feel it can get.
I use it with two lengths of 2mm silica and 5 wraps of 0.17 kanthal (its all i have) and it is amazing.

Been sodding about with the RSST and VIVI NOVA'S and nothing comes close.

I cut the tails off the wick earlier so that i could try some different flavours with a quick change over and felt soooo bad doing it as it was working perfect.

Will be re building it tommorow.

I tend to fold over some 2mm silica, wrap the coil at one end, lay one tail around the inside of the well and the other sort of follows it but then goes in between the posts if that makes sense.

Might have to try some of this eco wool i keep hearing about........

@thedarthVap3r. I Try and coil them round a bit but as long as they're not coming out the top cap I'm not too fussy.

ive set it up. think i might only be running at 1.1ohm , as my ohms reader needs new batteries but my sodding screwdriver all in one kit has gone walkabouts. ( i use it in 1 room in the house it cant possibly have left that room , but no , cant find it )

bit fittly getting the top cap on but worth it . this is wicking much better than my looping method previously , i tried some pluid to make the comparison as well its bright green so its easier to see how effeiciently its wicking. plus with all that wick , its holding a good amount of juice too!

yeah i must admit since ive been using this , granted for only a few days ( though its already been on holiday with me!)
i do feel annoyed that it only cost £10 . i kinda want to punch myself in the face for spending hundred on crappy clearos , protank , iclear 30s , vivi novas all the spare heads , evods , ce1-1000 ect ect i have 3x agat2 ( which granted i do like when it works) yet the two things ive enjoyed the most are this £10 dripper and boge cartos.

if i had cut the crap out and went straight for the dripper , i could have had enough cash left over to have bought some of the seriously expensive mods out there but instead i wasted it on over hyped crap.

I have not used a carto, clearo, vivi nova, or anything else like that since I discovered dripping, except for the aga t2 but that's mainly just for playing with. I like to be able to say that I can do a genesis setup with ss mesh or rope or even silica however even then it's not as good as dripping. I have an igo L, Igo S, igo W, YODA and a couple of cheapo RDA's I picked up from a Chinese website. Anyone who says that dripping when out and about isn't practical, I would have to disagree. It's no more impractical than smoking roll ups.

took my igo l with me to amsterdam and it was a breeze . i couldnt roll cigs to sav my life so probably the wrong person to comment , but take the top off , soak wick , boom. and now with this 6wick set up ive been vaping happily for 40minutes and its still going strong without a refill :D

I've tried all kinds of mad setups I've come across from youtube videos and such but I've found that for me, the simplest ways work best. I've settled on using either 2.5mm or 3mm wick doubled over with 3 wraps of .2 kanthal either at the end to give me 2 tails or, more recently, in the middle to give you 4 tails (my theory is that it will help with wicking) and usually gives me a 1.1 ohm coil. For me that's great on a mechanical mod.

well when i first got it i was under the impression the tails had to go on the base and thats were i would be dripping my juice , but having the tails sticking upright , enough to avoid the roof ofcourse , and avoiding the airhole , far better wicking. i kinda want the dual coil dripper from safer cigs because im currently coiling the side and as stupid as it sounds , i have a major issue with it not being symetrical . even if i didnt dual coil , just looking at it and seeing that the posts are symetrical would make me feel a lot better about the device. how sad is that !

Not sad at all. I have a thing about symmetry, tho I haven't really thought about it with RDA's, and I can't have the radio volume on an odd number unless it's multiples of 5. And especially can not have it on 13!

Is this the one you are looking at? http://www.safercigs.co.uk/Dual_coil_dripping_atomizer/p705283_9673150.aspx
I can highly recommended the igo w which is also a dual coil atomizer. 20mm diameter too. :)

yeh thats the one. hmm may look at the w seing as i do love my l.

is there drippers that have a hole in the posts to trap your wire by any chance? its a nightmare trapping with those tiny screws. wuld make using ribbon a much easier proposition too.

I'm a dripping freak :D

the above question applies to you also :D

what are you currently using?

Try an Octopus they have little knobs rather than screws that screw into the post and trap the wire in the holes so easy to set up without tools, also a good dripper :)

Also now a dripping freak , it took a long time to get to this point and some wonga but we are there :) no hassle when out and about just need to carry a small 10mm juice bottle in the kit which I did anyway :)

EDIT: I have just come back from holiday and used the Octopus for two weeks straight on holiday in Sardinia it never missed a beat. I replaced the coil/wick after a week, whilst sitting in a bar drinking beer so easy to maintain on the move or on your arse :). I was so impressed how easy it was to drip I ordered an eBaron dripper pro so now using that full time as per my previous post this is now my vaping Nirvana it has been a struggle to get to but at least I found it :).
