Nic Base Price Comparison Project

Hey folks.

As i am getting ready to get started with mixing i thought i would do my usual research to find the best deal... limited budget...blah..tightwad...blah.

So i started compiling a list and then to make life easier threw it @ excel to make life a bit easier still.

The list is by no means comprehensive but i think i have most of the most commonly used ones available to UK so far.

Please let me know if there are any vendors that need to be added!


Notes:
1) I did the list based on how much would i get and what would be the pence/ml price if i was to use up a whole bottle of nic base mixed with pg/vg (cost not factored in this calculation)with no flavor.
2) I have tried to avoid adding anything or anyone that comes out at over 10p/ml - therefore a supplier may do a smaller size bottle which is not on this list
3) For delivery charges i have tried to go for 1st class signed for or the closest equivalent where possible.
4) A delivery value of 0 indicates free delivery.
5) A blank delivery cell indicates no price obtained yet.

Thoughts, comments, feedback & suggestions all gratefully received!


If you download and open this file you may get a "security warning - data connections have been disabled" message. Clicking options will allow you to let the spreadsheet access up to date currency conversion data for the USA suppliers. There are no macro's or other bits involved. I leave that choice up to you.

Nic Base Price Comparison v1.5 by Chainmaker - August 12th 2013

Updated 9th August 2013 - Health-e-vape have a 20% discount weekend so reduces their price by a further 8%

Updated 10th August 2013 - Added 20% vat & £13.50 (worst case scenario) Royal Mail customs handling fee into a new pence/ml for USA suppliers.

Updated 11th August 2013 - Added a new pence per mg column showing the price per milligram of nicotine, as it is, in the bottle (no dilution, discount or delivery)

Updated 11th August 2013 - Added mg per pence showing how many mg per pence, as it is, in the bottle (no dilution, discount or delivery)

Updated 12th August 2013 - updated discount codes to remove weekend offer

WIll be trying to keep it as up to date as time permits...
MrKraken - I did think about that but from all my reading of forums, i think i am right in saying that it is passing through customs without the extra charge (well for one supplier that seems to be the case anyway). I can certainly look into adding a column for the worst case scenario of getting clobbered by customs.

Are there any other fee's incurred if they decide to do you? is in import tax of 20% or a VAT bill of 20%? If someone can advise accordingly i can add that at a later date.

Any other vendors i should be adding?

I can guarantee that more often than not you will get import damage, and if not the vendor is doing something that ain't strictly legal, so be aware of that, and lay your cautions as you will.
Also, this is the internet, don't trust anybody AndyC1971 didn't realise ZT was a man until he met herim and put his hands down...nevermind that, but you get me...

Liquid nicotine is 0% duty 20% tax.
I know exactly which vendor you're referring too as he's a top bloke...will cause hell for anyone buying in bulk from him to resell though (if they get asked to show proof of import duty/tax paid)!

if you get done by customsyou get hit with 20% + an £8 handling fee as standard.
