It's the all important matter of a decimal point, I'm getting muddled! forgive me if it sounds stupid, but the internet is confusing me!

If you have 72mg nic base, is that 7.2% nicotine? As in, for every 100mls of nic base, it will comprise 7.2mls of nicotine and 92.8mls vg/pg?

And if I vape at 3mg nic, I am actually vaping 0.3%

OR

Is it 72ml nicotine and 18ml vg/pg?

And therefore 3%?

Haven't had to pay too much attention to this so far as using online calculators, but I'm tinkering...!

72mg is 7.2% because it's 72mg per 1,000ml

Juice is considered to be the same weight as water (it's not but it's close enough)

Please don't get it wrong in your DIY ... :11:

Thanks chaps, was just having a "moment"! Thought it best to check before I poisoned myself!

My master spreadsheet is now complete, muhahahahaha! Let this mixing begin in earnest!!!

I'd ignore the % fact and go by the actual quantity of 72mg/ml. My spreadsheet is setup so it works out the total nicotine required and divides it by 72 ie:

10ml @ 6mg = 60mg total /72mg = 0.833ml of nicotine required.

It then takes that quantity off the VG required dependant on the mix ratio.

If you can programme that into a spreadsheet you don't need a spreadsheet!

My spreadsheet isn't a lot different to the online calculators but it means I keep them all in one place and can see where I am and what I can change to improve the flavour.

Sorry, I didn't check back in but that was more down to a case of manflu than nicotine overdose! My spreadsheet seems to be behaving nicely now my brain and body have stopped giving me dry hits!
