What's new

Nottinghamshire Police Enforcing Coronavirus Guidelines.

Have a look at the vid and post I've just put in the key workers thread.
I think this is where the gov is falling very short.

This is the problem, the woman at 2.18 uses the word ideally - so, enter ambiguity, people will interpret ideally subjectively, to meet their own requirements and to (obviously) find reasons, excuses and validity for their behaviour pattern. So frustrating, I think a bollocking is in order, just give us a rocket up the ass, tell people how it has to be, the grey areas have to be wiped out.

I can't go out much anyway so end up looking out the window watching the world go by. (when not on ebay mod shopping I might add). The area in Leeds where I live is normally busy with kids playing on some waste land opposite me and people in general just passing by and using the local shops and medical centre. the past few days I have barely seen anyone, which is probably a good thing. It's really quiet and at night really eerie feeling.

No garden then?

Absolutely 100%

I would add though that it is clearly the government's expectations that employees will heed the guidance submitted and they clearly express that they are expecting employers to fully support.

@andi52 not what normal people would call a garden, more of a little path then some hedges which suits me as I hate gardening.

My eldest daughters partner has been treated horrendously, akin to the wetherspoons and sports direct debacle. Two of my other 3 children are very fortunate, they've been working from home for some time now and their employers are supportive.

Someone linked to the below earlier and given there are already things like this going on I'm pretty sure when the time is right a light will be thrown on any underhand and poor behaviour displayed during this issue.

Look at the local independent shops that have been robbing people with extortionate pricing. Im sure they'll lose so much business in the long run they'll be lucky if they dont go bust.

I'm in a bit of a head butting exercise atm with my employer trying to get them to see sense and even if i succeed my days are likely to be numbered as a result.
