What's new

Nottinghamshire Police Enforcing Coronavirus Guidelines.

Someone linked to the below earlier and given there are already things like this going on I'm pretty sure when the time is right a light will be thrown on any underhand and poor behaviour displayed during this issue.

Look at the local independent shops that have been robbing people with extortionate pricing. Im sure they'll lose so much business in the long run they'll be lucky if they dont go bust.

Yeah, no...

People have very short memories.

During the fuel protests and blockades there was a petrol station near here that was charging £20/litre at one point, because they were the only place for miles with any fuel at all.

The whole town was complaining, people were putting up posters and campaigning for them to be boycotted and driven out of business when supplies resumed.

What actually happened was it just went back to normal and they were as busy as they ever were until a couple of years later when they sold the site to a supermarket.

So really, people will complain now, a few will continue to complain for a while after and they may lose a small percentage of trade but it's not going to have a massive impact.

Assuming there is an after of course...
