Listening to this, it makes me wonder if the chap would advocate classifying e-cigs as tobacco products.
This would probably make a few vested interests quite happy... government would feel justified in applying heavy taxation the same as they do with normal cigarettes and anti smoking lobby would be able to bring them firmly under their umbrella and extend their careers in finger waggling even if normal cigs wane in popularity.
Don't think big pharma would be too happy to see them classed as tobacco though... hence Mr Mean and his paymasters pushing for the medical route.
Hopefully the situation will become clearer in a few weeks but I reckon whatever the outcome, it'll leave some of us pished off.

Getting them under tobacco product is also crazy as they contain nicoteen. Either way id prefer that as it least it means they are likely to be available
