I found a great middle ground for clouds and flavour to be the veritas. It offers some fairly decent clouds, and the same flavour as the magma. That is saying a lot.

Had one a couple of days (Veritas) agree the flavour is good but I'm finding vapour production very sub par had all kinds of builds in it (last and final one only moments ago), for me its a bust as my Origin kicks its arse. Shame as the juice capacity on the veritas is insane and the way the AFC is setup it does take allot to get the bugger to leak would make a cracking out and about dripper but its a no for me, glad I went the try before you buy clone route.

Magma and Derang next on my hit list.

I'll give you a insight into how i build mine.

Wrap a normal coil, install it veritcally and then twist it horizontally. It should look like this:

Cheers I may try horizontal as i am not going to be selling it due to low cost more likely pass it on. I dont hold my breath had similar micro same slap bang close to air but verticle, had dual vertical single wire (sleeper build), last one single vertical chunky parallel coil. builds ranging from 0.5 to 1.4 coils close to air coils a bit further away slap bang infront, slighlty above all produce good flavour when AFC isnt wide open but not outstanding flavour but vapour has been not so good.

EDit mine came with a replacement pos insulator which is a couple of mm wider so i have slightly longer legs as i pulled the standard one out day one, not that that will have much of an impact/difference.

Yea I would say plume veil is ok best for flavours is for sure magma

So guess we all saw the rip trippers vid where he said this was the best dripper ever.

Well so far I have to disagree.

The flavour is OK, not bad but not particularly impressive either.

I think the sucker has too much airflow due to the way the air comes through the negative posts.

The clouds are pretty good admittedly but the flavour is weak due to the airflow.

The rotating centre post is a pain in the ass when building and the long and short screws are a pain too.

I think it's miles behind the zenith in performance.

The zenith is so easy to build, and the airflow is great opened up and gives a nice dense vape with loads of flavour.

Anyone else with similar experience?

I got the clone yesterday, my first 'proper' RDA, and I have to say its a bit too airy for my liking, like you say its good for putting out clouds but I like to mouth to lung like I did with fags, I also got mine reduced because of a dented deck so maybe its even more airy? I find if I wrap my hand around the negative post air inflow i get a much better pull, nice engineering but i'm going to trade her soon.

Surely you all know that the airflow can be closed on the negative posts? It doesn't have to be wide open.

Yeh I've just realised that lol I am getting on with her more now, I'd over stuffed her with cotton too, tyhis is my first proper dripper so its a learning curve...
