Plumeveil overhyped?

Yes but still haven't had a build out perform the origin or zenith :(

Cotton or silica? Same build for each of them too?

I have all three of these and back to back with the TOBH and Zenith the PV definitely kicks out better flavour for me. I have not tried back to back with the Origen yet though

Update, just done a single parallel coil and it is awesome vape. Tons of vapour and flavour. Think I need to spend more time with this atty as this single coil build is to die for.

Definitely preferred over the origin and zenith.

I think the flavour issues most people may have with this dripper are purely down to trying too many of the airflow options open. close off the negative post holes and build a single coil with the side hole open full or go for dual and half open on both sides to get full flavour.

When you have too many open on a 'normal' build (ie anything that isn't stupidly low res like 0.1 to 0.4) the flavour gets a bit lost. I just did a 0.4ohm single coil and it delivers the goods in a huge way.

I've got a 0.2 single coil in my plume veil, bottom airflow open, delrin holes closed an i'm getting good flavour and massive clouds.
I have my veritas with dual vertical 0.75 build in and its yummy but not very big clouds.
And my TOBH has a single 0.35 build and is pretty average compared to the others, although it really needs another coil in it to balance the draw, as its a bit airy with just one.
Vulcan with dual coil 0.5 and that gives great flavour an small clouds, similar to veritas.

Not that I've had a go, but it does seem to be fiddly bollix over-engineeredy to me from what I have seen.

You know what rocked whilst I had it, I preferred it to the zenith or the origen, was the magma.
Gave the Magma away, never got a decent vape on it. I was very disappointed in fact.

Origen is the only one that's stayed and I'll get another because (for me) it just works and is piss easy to set up.

seen the origen genny on FB ?

Between the TOBH 2.5 and the PV I'd say the difference is in the tweaks, with the PV I find more flavor closing off the negative post holes and I find it a bit too hot with the topper wound down.

The PV is my fav RDA so far but it does need some learning, work with the air holes and don't over cotton and you can adjust from 'sick as tits' clouds to full on flavor, just takes a bit of getting to know, the TOBH is right there and a bit less to get your head around...

I'm looking forward to getting the new PV 1.5 with the extra top holes in the hope I can close the chamber down a bit without so much heat, I do run about .2 -.3 ohms dual parallel setup so no shock the vapor can get a tad hot on a long draw.
