Not only does he enter his date of birth for his phone number repeatedly, but he also repeatedly forgets to put his house number. So we literally have no fucking idea where this parcel is going at all, almost [emoji23]

Doesnt bothet me if I have to wait an extra day. I hate having to worry about a signed for parcel, plus like you say its no faff to pick up a missed RM from the local sorting office.

Whilst we are on the subject of change, how would everyone feel about changing from Royal Mail to DHL express next day? It’d be the same price and same free postage threshold. You’d get a 1 hour delivery slot via text message.

Just gathering feedback at this stage, to get a idea of how people would react to the change and what people’s thoughts are on it!

Ok I'm happy paying for nic shots but please don't change to courier. Royal mail is the best for the more rural locations.

Yeah that’s another pro for RM. DHL want a fortune to delivery to parts of Scotland, isle of white etc.
 
Being ever so slightly biased I vote RM, though we really do need to pull our socks up, a lot, to be as good as we once were. It all might change anyway, if our new CEO is successful in doing away with the Universal Service Obligation, i.e. 6 day deliveries, to all UK addresses.
