Of course you can bud. May be worth snapping something like a cocktail stick off in the end (or clipping it) just to prevent juice ingress.

If your getting the same results with the squonk pin in then a pic of the deck is required as we will be looking for the shorting culprit.

Okay an o-ring won't solve your problem sorry.

as eyeball kid said there has to be a short circuit somewhere since you have the same issue on 2 mods.

Alternatively try a single coil build on it to raise the ohm's, I've used a framed staple coil on mine but it should give you an idea how it looks.

Just clipped more, still same issue

Yeah as an experiment. Pull both coils until the posts are grabbing just the ends of the coils (so your using the.maximum wire length)
It will look ugly but if it fires then I'd use just one coil like vs said.
It's hard as the alien is also well known for throwing hissy fits for no apparent reason.

Just check the 510 insulator is in place too while your at it.

So I just took the coils out then unscrewed the rda then put it back in and it says ohm too low... even with no coils in
