Problem with naturevape dcd coil

Thanks a lot everyone, ive been having a bit of a vape crisis trying to find my "spot" and had a lot riding on these!!

I'll try drying the wick slightly and replacing the cotton if needed (i did follow the tutorial but may have over done it)

Im really grateful for all the help ive received from the members on here!!

It took me 3 attempts to get my first wick working nicely. First two times were too tight. I realised that I needed quite a bit less cotton than I'd thought - enough so there was just a little friction as I pulled it through the coil, but not a lot. There's some to learn with these but they're not too difficult to get the hang of in the end.

Keep with it! I can't rate them highly enough. I only once had problems, not enough cotton, resulting in flooding, gurgling and leaking. I've been using one ( in 1 of several tanks) for about 3 months now, and once it's cleaned and dry burned it's still like new! Keep us updated...

Just a little update as these coils seem to be getting a lot of interest lately......

As suggested, i dried the wick and funnel slightly, pulled a few dry toots and hey presto my aerotank was pluming!! Only problem was the Hot Cross Bun flavoured juice i had :( (ok if you like the taste of germoline but not if you like hot cross buns - thats one bottle going to the back of the cupboard)

So, after work today i cleaned the tank and tried my first attempt at rewicking the coil. As someone above suggested, just tight enough for a bit of friction and to my surprise and delight it worked!!! Flavours not quite right and the draws a bit rattly but not bad for a first go.

Hopefully with a bit more practice i can get the best out of these things and move my vape journey on a step.

Thanks again for all the tips :)

Had better luck then me then.........I at least know now where I went wrong.....TOO MUCH COTTON WOOL !
Yep, tried to pull far too much wool thru the coil and I think it snapped the coil, coz it didn't work after that.
So now waiting for payday to order a couple of new coils.
One lesson learnt, me thinks.

Learning curve and all that, i pictured myself cocking up so ordered 2 of each just in case!

I had the same problems with the Naturevape DCD coil on my Protank 3. But to be fair I had flooding and gurgling before fitting the N-Vape coil. So overall the N-Vape coil didn't do a lot. It went in the kitchen bin with the Protank 3 mainly because Protank 3 committed suicide by jumping under the head of my hammer. Live and learn: Now I'm a traditional carto vaper
