RBA vs pre-built - Please explain

Thanks :) . I got the normal coils perfect. That bit is spot on but really struggling with the mesh. Reason why is in my last comment.

I've used the Zues X Mesh but I'm definitely not the expert on mesh devices. @30deadcats advice is good but seeing as you only have your Aromamizer, although it's OK to learn on you don't want to keep using it for mesh. Normal round coils will give you the best results on that tank.

I liked the mesh while I used it. For the short second before it gave me a dry hit. It was smooth, flavourful and had loads of vapour. Just want to get it to work. Maybe Cotton bacon will come in handy here. I could tear off a huge amount so that by the time I've thinned the edges, any thinning inadvertently done under the coil will end up the right size lol. I'll have a mess around with it and see what I can do. I know it can be done because of the review videos.

What's the Zeus X Mesh like? I have the regular Zeus X tank which is ok. Some normally nice tasting liquids don't taste that nice on it, and some do. I found the coils too small really.
But do you like the Zeus X Mesh one? Easy to put the coil together on the deck? Is it spring loaded under the cotton?

If you've got the normal Zues X have a look in the box it game in. The one I got had normal and mesh build decks so you might find another deck for mesh in the box.

The vape from it was gorgeous although it tore through juice at a rate of knots. I was just happier with my Blotto tanks. I liked how they vape and was more used to building on it plus it used less juice and I had no chance of a dry hit.

I tried doing it again with a new mesh strip and the same thing happened.
I see what the problem is. As I'm thinning out either side I can see that the part under the mesh is also thinning. The fibers are also being pulled out from under the coil. I made sure to really thin the outer edges this time but the problem is cotton being thin under the coil. Not sure what I can to resolve that. It should work still, I just need to get that bit sorted.

To thin cotton for mesh DON'T try to thin it out by raking the excess as, as you have found, you will pull the cotton out from under the mesh. Try lifting the wicks and cutting it with scissors at a 45 degree angle removing most of the cotton at the top and leaving a much thinner strip at the bottom, or cut it to length so it is long enough to go into the juice wells, feed the cotton at the bottom of the wick into the wells until it seems sufficiently full, but not packed tight, and cut away the excess at the top.

The ends only need fluffing rather than thinning.

Fluff them then tuck them in from the back of the juice well towards the front. Don't force it in. When you have enough in the well cut the excess from the front. That's how I wicked my unities and never had a dry hit or any leaking. I tried the mesh on the atty you have but found it to be just ok. Whereas the unity is a breed apart.

Sorry my bad. It's the Zeus Z that I have. The normal sub-ohm tank. It also tears through juice at a rate of knots. Really badly lol.

Great! Thanks for that advice dude. I will give that a go today.
I ordered some cotton bacon from ebay and then someone told me they weren't laces and I'd have to tear some off. So I cancelled the order. I got a refund instantly but the guy still sent the pack haha. Got it this morning. Free Cotton bacon! Will try what you said today.

No problem mate.

How do you feel the Aromamizer compares to vaping stock coils?
