You should not be using a 30% charged battery, that's when you change the battery.

Yes, it will produce a lot less vapour than a fully charged battery.

Make sure you don't over-discharge your battery as that is how batteries get damaged and become unsafe to use.

Seriously. SLOW DOWN.

STOP USING THE MECH UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

TAKE MY ADVICE AND GET USED TO BUILDING USING A REGULATED MOD FIRST, WHILE YOU LEARN THIS STUFF.

YOU SHOULD NOT ALREADY BE USING THE MECH AND ASKING THESE QUESTIONS.

So, what charge does it hold, and how much will that charge sag with the amp draw you are pulling? Will it dip below 3 volts?

It is with a mech though! You're asking more of the battery the less charge there is in it. You need to start listening to what you are being told and stop equating mechanical use as the same as regulated, they're different animals. A regulated mod will give you a low battery warning and cease to fire, a mech will still try to fire the attached load.

These are not AA/AAA batteries that you are playing with. They are a potential explosion waiting to happen. Listen to what the guys are telling you, it's for your own good.
