Just looks like a rehash of the drop deck. Not sure how the airflow works on it though, might need the coils completely differently positioned, fwiw here's how I do the Drop...

Just watched a vid that said Clapton is good for flavour so going to try some of that. Don’t think the ramp up time’s as good though. Is it better to have the coils closer in the middle or further apart so they’re nearer to the air holes?

That's one to experiment with TBH. Not got the Drop Dead to say for sure but I do the Aequitas and the Drop the same way.

How does the resistance affect flavour? Lower or higher for better flavour?

I think you might be a bit heavy on the cotton, see how you can see clear space between my posts? That's to let air round the coils.
